Katsu Sando is usually fried on a kitchen, away from the guests. When we visited this Teppanyaki restaurant, the chefs prepared it all in front of us, on the teppan.

Rather than using a fryer, the sandwich is assembled and cooked in front of the guests on the iron plate. Garlic oil and butter build the base, followed by the Chateaubriand, finished with the restaurant’s original katsu sando sauce and gold leafs.

It is definitely an unique way to serve Katsu Sando, with a new texture and aroma, creating a completely new experience for guests.

Located on the 19th floor of the Plaza Hotel Osaka in Juso, the restaurant combines teppanyaki technique with a clear view of the city skyline.
