hey lovelies!

i recently went on a week-long trip to portugal (portimao, lagos and lisbon) amid the coronavirus pandemic. the borders have reopened since the beginning of june. i actually preferred travelling during this time because it was quiet and calm - i was able to visit attractions, restaurants and places without waiting in long queues and interact closely with locals. it was upsetting to hear how local businesses were struggling to stay open because they heavily relied on international tourists. all were really relieved to hear that international flights were landing again. in my video you'll be able to see how empty places are. come to think of it, i dont think there will be another opportunity to explore portugal like this ever again. but i hope south italy will be a similar experience when i travel there next week (so subscribe if you'd like to see that video next week). honestly, i felt so safe travelling as it was mandatory to wear a face mask, sanitise hands upon entering a premises and to keep a distance. i made sure to wash my hands often and to not touch my face! Also, not many people were around anyways...i hope you enjoy my video
