Algarve, Portugal has beautiful beaches, picturesque caves, great food, and much more. If you’re heading to Algarve soon or this summer, there’s a few things you shouldn’t miss:
Benagil Cave: The cave is beautiful. You have to take a boat or kayak/paddleboard to get there. It’s near other caves, so if you book a tour, you can see more.
NoSoloAgua Beach Club - It’s a beach club in Portimao with cabanas, a private beach, a bar and a restaurant. If you head to Algarve for Afronation, the entrance fee is usually included when you buy the Golden Ticket. But, go there even if you don’t.
Dine at Allgarbe Restaurant in Portimao and try local restaurants: The food at our hotel was really good, but what we ate at Allgarbe topped it for me. Don’t miss the grilled fish (I had red snapper) and the homemade garlic bread with cheese.
Visit Algar Seco and grab drinks/lunch at Boneca Bar: We rode by Algar Seco our Benagil Cave tour and it’s beautiful. It’s about 5km from Benagil Cave. The best photo spot is in the Boneca - a small cave with two big holes that open to the sea.
