This is our first attempt at making a VLOG about our travels. We traveled to The Algarve in July 2022 and had a fantastic time seeing the coast and flying my DJI drone. We stayed in an awesome house in Carvoeiro which had a great view of the beach and water. We hope this is helpful to anyone who will be going to the Algarve in Southern Portugal. Let us know what you think in the comments.

We also had some great food, but we can't say enough about Restaurante Almareado who served us the famous seafood cataplana. It was awesome!!!

A cataplana is an item of cookware used to prepare Portuguese seafood dishes, popular in the country's Algarve region. The cataplana is also the name of a typical dish of Algarve region as well as a Portuguese item of cookware used to make the dish and a method of cooking using it.

The Algarve, Portugal’s southernmost region, is known for its Atlantic beaches and golf resorts. Whitewashed fishing villages on low cliffs overlooking sandy coves were transformed in the 1960s, and now its central coast between Lagos and Faro is lined with villas, hotels, bars and restaurants. The region's western Atlantic coast and rugged interior are less developed.
