Algarve is almost 3 hour drive from the capital of Portugal, Lisbon. It’s a coastal area ( like most of Portugal) and it borders Spain ( in fact we can see Spain from there across the river, how cool?)
We are staying at @praiaverdeboutiquehotel which is a cute stylish hotel set among Portuguese forest ????and beaches, so you get best of both worlds.
A few cute towns are within 15 min drive from Praia Verde Hotel, as well as a castle and a fort ( I will report on that later in stories)
The hotel has an amazing restaurant, a tree swing, a pool, kids club, suite rooms and forest trails for nature enjoyment.
