The Algarve Coast is the southernmost part of Portugal ????????, and it’s popular in the summer for a reason. The stunning rocky coastline with a variety of beaches you can walk down to, kayak around, or surf and swim in are jaw-droopingly gorgeous. I went in the “off season” and I have to say, it was a really nice situation for me. I was able to save a bit of money, still had nice weather, and a lot less crowds.

My TOP recommendation for exploring Lagos, Portimao, Benagil, and Sagres: rent yourself a motorbike ????! It was so fun to be able to cruise around, stop at all the beaches, viewpoints, and watch the sunset on my own terms.
