The NomadX project, as presented by Gonçalo Hall, is an innovative approach to coliving tailored specifically for digital nomads. Unlike traditional coliving setups, NomadX focuses on building communities before physical spaces, distinguishing it from conventional methods that prioritize property development first.

Key Features and Approach
Community-Centric Development: NomadX prioritizes establishing a vibrant community of digital nomads before selecting and developing physical locations. This strategy ensures that the coliving spaces serve as community hubs rather than just accommodation, fostering a greater sense of belonging and engagement among its members.
Coliving Spaces: The project transforms small hotels into coliving spaces, aiming for properties with 15 to 40 rooms. These spaces are intended to serve as the headquarters for the community, providing a living, networking, and collaborative space that naturally attracts residents, thus reducing marketing and acquisition costs effectively to zero.
Digital Nomad Lifestyle Support: NomadX offers robust support to its community through free coworking spaces, daily events (6 to 10 per day), full-time community management, assistance with accommodation, and an active Slack community for ongoing networking and support.

Strategic Locations and Expansion
Current Presence: NomadX has established communities in Madeira and other parts of Portugal, as well as in Brazil.
Future Goals: Plans are in place to expand to 50 communities globally over the next five years.

Impact and Recognition
Membership and Participation: The network boasts over 50,000 members across its platforms, with over 25,000 nomads having participated in Madeira alone.
Media and Rankings: The initiative has received significant media attention, including coverage by CNN, GQ, Lonely Planet, and the Washington Post. Notably, it helped Madeira climb from 121st to 2nd on the Nomadlist global ranking.
Economic Contribution: In just 24 months, NomadX has contributed significantly to the local economy, with an impact of 60 million Euros, the creation of over 250 companies, and the sale of more than 200 houses.

Financial Model
NomadX operates its coliving spaces with a flexible financial model that can include revenue sharing. The average price target per room is approximately 1000 to 1300 euros per month, depending on the location.

Expansion and Collaboration
Gonçalo Hall is actively seeking property partners in Portugal, Spain, Brazil, and Morocco, as well as investors and service/tech providers to facilitate operations and growth. This collaborative approach aims to broaden the impact and reach of NomadX's unique coliving model.

Overall, NomadX represents a pioneering approach to coliving, emphasizing community and connectivity tailored to the lifestyle of digital nomads, which not only enhances individual experiences but also contributes significantly to local economies.
