So many details are waiting for you in this other side of the ocean. In this video Michael D., one of our clients is sharing things that went wrong with his flight being canceled, the deed being postponed at the last minute by the other party, catching covid on their arrival, and so many other little unpredictable things.

Even when things go alright and flights arrive on time, closing dates are kept, and there is no health issue. Still, you are arriving in a different country. As a tourist, this is easy, you get your google maps and your translation app, and done, you are good to go.

But when you move to another country, your credit score means nothing, your VISA credit cards are not accepted in some places, you don’t speak the language, you don’t have the local documentation yet, and you need to know where to go to achieve your goals, it all becomes so overwhelming.

When people are packing their bags and saying goodbyes to the old life they had in their home country, they don’t realize how stressful the next weeks can be. All of our clients arrive here so tired and full of questions, no matter how much they prepared themselves. Help to rent a local car or a minibus to take the family to their nearby hotel, last minute changes on accommodation, tour to show the neighborhood and buy the first house items, setup home doctor concierge, provide guidance on getting the proper documentation on each government office, transferring their utilities to their names… these are just a few significant help we offer with our transition help.

Brint also helped Michael’s family with the preparation and translation of the documents, complete relocation and real estate purchase by proxy. In this video, Michael explains how important this full service was to him and his family in the weeks that followed their arrival.
