This is our first time to Goa..Goa is just not a place but a great feeling! Though the right time to visit Goa is from November to February which is the party hard Summer, it's a complete new experience to visit Goa during Monsoon as well. We are in Goa in the middle of July and it is nothing like a partying Goa..This is bliss, beautifully green and an amazing climate to feel good and be amidst nature..Lush green look and rain that disturbs us occasionally is a new experience.

We missed water sports and other fun activities though. If you are planning for a budget friendly Goa trip also you can choose monsoon as hotels give you best deals in off season.

We were in the middle of red alert so fingers crossed we went on this trip and it was awesome worth it! In this series of videos you'll find the best places to visit in Goa, especially during monsoon.

The second day we went to Fort Aguada Jail museum. It was a breadth taking beauty built in red laterite stones, especially it's majestic appearance is elevated during monsoon rains as the red stones look much prettier in the wet look. It's one of the must visit places to visit during monsoon. Behind the beauty is hidden so many untold stories and torments of the prisoners during the Portugal era. If you are interested in learning about culture, people and place, this is one of the best historical spots for you in Goa.
