Amazing tourist location, wonderful views over sea, rocky hills and waterfalls.
Take a guided tour but if more than 2 ppl recommended to rent a car (we rented a Fiat Panda for 1 day full insured for 40 Euro plus a few liter gas/petrol, 9 March 2024 at MadLobos Car Hire Rental including pick-up and drop-off at our hotel in Funchal). Also possible to take a local bus from Funchal with a few km walk to there.
