The city is named after Saint Anthony, a Portuguese priest.
San Antonio is well-known for its UNESCO World Heritage Sites, and several other parks and attractions.
Today’s episode of ‘Adventure Around the World’ features some notable tourist places in San Antonio, Texas.

We are entering the mall inside the Riverwalk.
This is the entrance.
There are boats here where you can take a ride.
I will go down in a while and see what the San Antonio Riverwalk looks like.

I have come to the Riverwalk, San Antonio.
It was initially built in 1920.
This river was created to drain out the floodwaters of San Antonio City.
Tourists are taken on boat rides in this river.
It is a very famous place in San Antonio.
I will move forward and see what else is in this Riverwalk.

I took a boat ride around the entire Riverwalk.
The San Antonio Riverwalk is renowned worldwide, attracting both locals and visitors across the world.
This place has many big hotels on both sides, several famous centers, and an old church.
There are many restaurants, including America's first and oldest Mexican restaurant.
Casa Rio, which was established here in 1926.

I am standing on a bridge at the San Antonio Riverwalk.
This bridge runs straight with a walkway underneath, extending far on both sides.
San Antonio Riverwalk is a historical and famous place.
This Riverwalk was built in 1920.
A massive flood hit San Antonio at that time, where around 50 people died.
Then the city planners gathered to find a solution.
They decided to take action to prevent future flood damage and ensure proper water drainage
From there, the San Antonio Riverwalk was created.
Lots of tourists visit here, generating 800 million dollars annually through various activities.
