Lisbon - the seond oldest city in Europe after Athens and one of the oldest cities in the world. Over 3 million people live in the metropolitan area of Lisbon; the captal city of Portugal itself has an estimated population of slightly over 500,000. Take your time to walk the many hills in the city and enjoy the breathtaking views, the culture, the people, architecture and food. Watch out fort he famous tiles and listen to fado music in the numerous bars around the city. Take a boat ride on the Rio Tejo and let yourself be inspired by the beauty that surrounds you.
