Top Places to Visit Algarve Portugal ???????? Benagil, Praia da Marinha & Albandeira (World Top Beac

Some of the best things to do in the Algarve, Portugal: Benagil Cave, Praia da Marinha (Marinha Beach), Praia & Arco de Albandeira and Portuguese tapas.

We were on our way to Carvoeiro Beach when we got a text to let us know that the seas had been too rough for us to be able to go on our Benagil Cave tour. As we were out already we instead revisited Algar Seco and saw Aboneca, a gorgeous rock formation including a cave and windows out to the ocean.

We then drove to Benagil where we attenmpted (unsuccessfully) to hire a kayak in order to visit the famous Benagil Cave. In the end we just saw it from above and made our way a little further down the coast to Praia da Marinha (Marinha Beach). This has been voted one of the top 100 beaches in the world and we could see why! It was our favourite beach that we visited on our whole trip in the Algarve.

After flying the drone and getting a super tasty toastie at the cafe, we went even further down the coast to Praia de Albandeira (Albandeira Beach) and Arco de Albandeira (Albandeira Arch). This is a stunning formation that just got more and more beautiful with the sunset and the golden hour lighting.

We headed back to Carvoeiro for a delicious Portuguese tapas dinner including flaming (literally) chorizo, cuttlefish, garlic mushrooms, pork, breads, and a sweet chorizo scramble. Delicious!!
