If you're visiting Portugal, especially in July, you have to include a visit to the magical medieval walled town of OBIDOS. It's a great day's outing. You can wander through the narrow cobbled alleys, check out the different artisan shops and sample some of the delicious local cuisine at one of the many restaurants or cafes. OBIDOS needs to be on your holiday itinerary!
