The Geodesic Center of Mainland Portugal, in Serra da Melriça. At the top of this mountain, a landmark about 20 meters high is built, called "Picoto", thus marking the Center in terms of geodetic coordinates.
Excellent view! The rose of the winds not to be missed... View from the distance, Serra da Estrela in the distance... The center of Portugal.

O Centro Geodésico de Portugal Continental, na Serra da Melriça. No alto desta serra, encontra-se construído um marco com cerca de 20 metros de altura, denominado de "Picoto", marcando assim o Centro a nível de coordenadas geodésicas.
Vista excelente! A rosa dos ventos a não perder... Vista de perder o alcance, serra da estrela ao longe... O centro de portugal.
