In May, Masha and I went on an incredible trip to Madeira, Portugal - a stunning island in the Atlantic ocean off the north east coast of Africa. I had never heard of Madeira before discovering a travel deal for one week and I booked it! It turned out to be the most fun, relaxing and great vacation with my mom :) I can totally see Madeira becoming a recurring vacation destination for our family for years.

Hope you enjoy part one of the Madeira vlogs where we explored Funchal old town, ate great seafood and desserts, went up a cable car and wandered through a botanical garden on top a mountain side and went for a thrilling ride in a traditional Madeira toboggan / sled ride that has been thrilling the Portuguese for centuries!
