Hey guys
Back with another travel video I went to Portugal with my sister and her friend.
21-28 September 2019
While I was out there I went to Lisbon, Lagos and Faro. Hope you enjoy this little video.
Below I’ve listed some recommendations :)
Recommendations
FOOD
In Lisbon don’t leave without trying the pastel de nata (egg tart) they’re only €1 and honestly taste AMAZING!
Portugal is also very well know for seafood.
If you’re going in the warmer months I recommend eating in restaurants with outdoor seating for dinner the atmosphere is just magical.
LOCATION
Old Lisbon is definitely a good place to go around on foot. It does require some effort because it’s a hilly area but it will really allow you to fall in love with the city.
On your first day I would recommend a free walking tour.
I did a free walking tour with wild walkers lasted roughly 3hrs and the guide was really nice and I got to know a lot of interesting facts about Portugal and the city of lisbon. Also he was super helpful with recommendations.

I would also recommend you guys to take a day trip to Sintra to see the palace & get some good pictures;)
( get your train tickets day before because lines are super long in the morning )
STAY
I stayed at goodnight hostel, location was amazing especially for the price. Staff were super friendly and the rooms/ toilets were clean. Would definitely book with them again if I go back.

TIPS
- Definitely recommend taking trainers because Cobble streets are all over Lisbon. And take extra care walking on these if it’s raining, so you don’t slip.
- Red trams are tourist traps and you’ll end up paying triple the price so I recommend getting on the yellow ones :)
- The Santa Justa lift always has a long queue but honestly it’s just a tourist trap not worth the wait.
