The Misericórdia Hospital and Church (Portuguese: Igreja e Santa Casa da Misericórdia) is a 17th-century Roman Catholic church and orphanage located in São Cristóvão, Sergipe, Brazil.[1][2] It is built in the Baroque style and occupies 3,976 square metres (42,800 sq ft) at the east of São Francisco Square. The facility was listed as a historic structure by National Institute of Historic and Artistic Heritage (IPHAN) in 1944. The facility is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site of São Francisco Square in the Town of São Cristóvão
EVORA PORTUGAL - Due to its well-preserved old town centre, still partially enclosed by medieval walls, and a large number of monuments dating from various historical periods, including a Roman Temple, Évora is a UNESCO World Heritage site. It is also a member of the Most Ancient European Towns Network.[5]
